About Marsha Dimes
Marsha Dimes was named 2019 Dallas Pride Grand Marshal and is founder and CE-Ho of Marsha & Friends Drag Brunch, a monthly drag brunch benefiting North Texas charities. Marsha has been named "Member of the Year" by the Turtle Creek Chorale in 2018 and 2019, and co-hosts the annual Turtle Creek Chorale Retreat “Talent” Show with the sister she never wanted DeManda Refund.
Marsha was named Best New Individual in 2019 by Prism Health North Texas. Since its founding in November 2017, Marsha & Friends Drag Brunch has raised more than $30,000 for charity.
In April 2019, Marsha was the first drag queen to speak at the Association of Fundraising Professionals International Conference in a session entitled "Don't be a Drag. Just Be a Queen: How to Rule with LGBTQ+ Donors". Marsha Dimes won the title of Miss Big Thickette in 2018 and many attendees are still in therapy following her attempt to sing “I am What I am”.
